Romeo and Juliet were incredibly disappointing not that I have finally read the play and seen parts of the movie. Having heard about Romeo and Juliet all my life when anything love-related was being said I would have expected an actual love story. Instead, I read a play about two kids who impulsively got married, and killed themselves in the course of less than a week. This story is the furthest thing from a love story, not the mention the characters are neither mentally nor even physically mature enough for love or marriage. Lastly, the characters in this play all seemed to act in the lowest moral and empathetic way possible, no matter what the situation was the characters all seemed to make the one choice that would further the plot toward tragedy.
