Obstinate

 My parents are very obstinate about me not being allowed to do anything with my friends for a week every time I miss the bus. The are obstinate because they are trying to influence me to never miss the bus and their chosen incentive is punishing me for a week and relinquishing the only two days of freedom I have from school and sports.
