New Years Resolution

My New Years' resolution for 2021 is to exercise more so that I can be in good shape for summer tournaments (hoping there are tournaments). I plan to do this by staying active and eating a good diet. I think this is an achievable goal and I believe I will be able to achieve it.

MP2 Reflection

Three things I did well this quarter were turning in work on time, take good notes for class especially bio, and maintain high grades. Three things I can work harder to do better on next quarter are study more for tests and quizzes, do better proofreading before handing in essays and other writing assignments, and paying better attention when school is virtual.

Signal phrases

Book Review

 I liked the book Of Mice and Men for a few reasons. The characters in the book were very interesting and they all interacted differently. The storytelling in the book was also very easy to follow. Lastly, the author's use of imagery made it very easy to paint a picture of what the author was describing.

Vocab Words!

 In the bottom of the ninth, the score was 11-0, there was almost no way the bandits could come back. As result, the cows were acting very complacent and lazy. However, due to the cows playing so sloppy the bandits were able to come back and win 12-11, the result of the seemingly shut game contorted the cow's players' faces of joy to grimace. As the game continued the fans were bewildered at how quickly the cows were able to throw the game. As the players shook hands to show respect the cows showed belligerent unsportsman like behavior.

Personification

 The fluffy white clouds reached out across the blue sky.

The joy from the gifts shined true in the children's faces.

The school bus began to creep forward as it rolled down the hill.

The alarm clock came to life with a loud roar.

The dark clouds began to leak tears down from above.

Back to work! UGH! But first...

 Over the break, I slept a lot and enjoyed being able to sleep in and not worry about missing the bus when I didn't wake up. This year my Christmas was a little lonelier without all my family members spending the holidays with me. I got mostly clothes this year for Christmas which I look forward to getting to wear, unfortunately, I will have to wait since CBA has a strict dress code. I also enjoyed eating many homemade Christmas cookies and some other great meals, which I will need to work off.
